C104: Successful Contracting with the Federal Government

Find out how to do business with the Federal Government: Understand the registration requirements, procurement regulations, and marketing your business to the federal agencies. The workshop is centered on what market research tools are available to determine which agency make what purchases and how to position your company as one from whom they should buy.  Attendees will learn to:

   -Determine if government contracting is a good business model form them
   -Classify their business and their products/services
   -Indentify which government agencies buy what you sell
   -Focus their research in order to locate contracting opportunities targeted to their business
   -Understand the basics about federal pricing (Overhead and G&A;)
   -Understand the rules of the road via introductions to:
   -Work effectively with the internet research opportunities
   -Learn what criteria goes into making a good bid/no-bid decision
