HUBZone Certification

Is your business located in an underutilized business zone and you want to contribute to its future growth, stability, and increased employment? If so, the HubZone program is a great opportunity for you to grow your business while making a positive impact on the community where the business is located. The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. These preferences go to small businesses that obtain HUBZone certification in part by employing staff who live in a HUBZone as well as provide federal contracting assistance to qualified small business concerns located there. Benefits include the following: Increase employment opportunities, Stimulate capital investment in those areas, and Empower communities through economic leveraging and the multiplier effect.
